After pulling uphill for over 50 miles, the ZBRLC is now descending the 18 miles into Mojave at MP 366.5, just south (SP east) of Monolith.
C44-9W #9821 leads the ZBRLC out of Tunnel #10, and past the north switch at Marcel, as it tackles the 2.2% grade.

The ZBRLC, arguably UP's hottest train on the Mojave Sub, is making track speed as it winds around the horseshoe curve near the north end of Marcel Siding.

The hottest train on the Mojave Sub is led by SD70M 5046 as it rounds the turn on the approach to Tunnel #2.
