CP 939 is in the process of building its train at Kenwood Yard.

Thanks to an early am departure from Kenwood Yard, the old battle wagon Warbonnet made a fine sight over the calm Mohawk into Waterford on a spectacular Sunday morning in the Capital Region.

The swap of autoracks here is pretty common with the SMS and CP/NS. The two units on the SMS Job and the dirty UP leader on CP #939 today not so much.

After making there pick up at Delanson from SMS, southbound #939 is seen rounding the bend at one of my favorite spots along CP’s Ex D&H.

CP 939 starts its journey towards Chicago at 8:24AM, 4 miles north of its origination at Kenwood Yard, Port of Albany, NY on the 4th of July 2010. Trailing unit is NS SD70M # 2620.
