Milwaukee 261 rolls along the west side of the Mississippi River heading to Kansas City from St. Paul.

The 261 leads this fall color train south over the trestle at the Nemadji River just south of Superior as it builds a head of steam southbound for the Twin Cities.

A morning of battling snow squalls, hail, wind gusts and rain pays off as a resplendent 261 traverses the span at Sandstone en route to Duluth.

261 steams off of the BNSF's Coal Runner and heads for the Grassy Point Draw.

After stopping briefly in Hinckley for service the MILW 261 was once again on its way south. Here it comes around the sweeping curve just outside of Brook Park.

On a day that saw everything from wind, rain, driving snow, and full sun, Milwaukee Road 261 steams around the curve a Brook Park in the clouds.
