This westbound was stopped due to a stuck or frozen switch.

Southbound on East 15th street on the ex Monon main now run by CSX. The old Monon route would always yield surprises. This line is now inactive.

Westbound at one of my favorite places to watch trains on visits to Louisville.

Norbound UP run through on CSX ex Monon line. This line is now abandoned with CSX now using the ex PRR line to Louisville.

About 1 - 2 inches of snow has fallen in the Louisville area. Do you notice something funny about the number boards on this southbound? Rail service no longer operates here, the line abandoned.

UP Wings run through on the old Monon route, then CSX. This line is slated for abandonment ending any rail service on the former Monon as through traffic has shifted to the L&I.
