I seem to have a knack for finding this unit. This is the third time that BNSF 7787 has been in the lead of a train that I caught.

The Empire Builder heads east through the small town of West Salem just after departing La Crosse on time.

These three EMDs are right at home pulling big tonnage west toward Mandan as they sweep under MN 32 east of Hawley.

After some switching in Dilworth with BNSF and industries in Moorhead, the usual OTVR GPs head back to Fergus Falls near Sabin.

This loaded unit coal train must have found some snow out west on it's way to unload at Xcel in the Twin Cities.

A sharp warbonnet dodges the late evening shadows as it heads west with empties from Xcel Energy in Becker.
