With the evening sun quickly slipping away in the Tug Fork Valley, a unit coal train pokes its head out of the Glen Alum tunnel along this remote and rugged section of the Pokey.

Mty coal gondolas pulled by lead engine 645 head north, back to the coalfields of KY. The gons have alot of reinforcing ribs, something not visible from ground level.
