Looking across track 2 and 1 at Purvis, a CSX general purpose locomotive takes some time off with several cars in the LaGrange Yard.

It's nice to see the YN2 scheme still on some of the CSX power. One of several intermodal trains that pass through here daily, has a Bright Future engine leading the way.

A conductor holds on to CSX locomotive #6460 as the engineer moves it from the siding to the main. After moving some cars around, this crew is finish for today and will tie this train down.

Hoopers quickly pass through Dickert behind three CSX engines. Today all its power is on the front end, but generally one locomotive brings up the rear.

The last train before sunset is operating with BNSF power and a little over 5,000 feet of containers. Within an hour another train will roll through but in darkness.

On a beautiful evening in Wadley, the next train to pass through is a colorful intermodal southbound. New crossties wait for installment and this now obsolete train is making a daily run.

Only 1,559 feet long, this very short train assembly heads north with one locomotive on the point and a DPU on the rear. The trailing unit is CSXT #905.

Taking the siding at Standing Rock, over 5,000 feet of empty coal hoppers head to the northend for a brief wait for a southbound.

On a clear day, intermodal containers roll over the mainline stacked behind BNSF power through Dickert. A meet between this train and Q185 will happen not far from here in Wadley.
