NWPY 171 sits behind the Petaluma depot durring the srping of 2001. For a few months in 2001, this locomotive would run to Schellville and back as needed, before the NWP was again shut down.

NWP's Petaluma Local heads south passed the old Santa Rosa Depot on the NWP. In less then a month, the SP will hand control of the NWP over to the California Northern.
