The sharp looking 3012 departs Anchorage with the state fair train as it crosses ships creek.

The hostlers have taken over for the road crew on the 130N, they have just yarded the train and now take the pair of MAC's to be turned as the Denali Star is almost ready to depart for Anchorage.

The Glacier Discovery heads for home as it parallels the Seward Highway south of Girdwood in the sweet evening light.

The fair train runs down the Palmer Branch from Palmer as it heads back to Anchorage with a train full of passengers. This was the first year that the railroad has added domes to this train.

4014 makes the S curve from the east side of Snow River to the west side passing through a very nice truss Bridge with a absolutely beautiful background on the other side of the river.

After running through the most inaccessible part of the railroad the coal train finally comes back within viewing range of the road and crosses trail lake in Moose Pass.
