The daily Z train from Cicero Yard in Chicago is close on the tail of the local as it heads west out of Spiritwood.

A westbound manifest heads under the Luce Line Regional Trail as it meets an eastbound coal load at the west end of Wayzata.

Sometimes all the right things come together at the right time... This eastbound grain train just happened to pass by this signal as the sun started to dip below the tree line.

Shortly after leaving Glenwood, this quartet of EMDs are working their way up to 60 mph with a very long manifest. As you might imagine, the sound of these units was just fantastic!

A westbound grain train slides through the big curve in downtown Lake Park behind a pair of GEs. Always nice to get a whistle from the crew at this spot and these guys were happy to provide one.

These three GEs were really working hard to keep their loaded ethanol train moving as they head east near Richards Spur.
