CNW 8510,8034,UP 6111,6134 have an eastbound load near West Myles. Three units were more common at the time on CNW jobs with at least one C40-8 normally leading the way.

CNW 8519, UP 9151, 6160 are cruising along at a pretty good clip as they start to pick up speed after dragging a coal load over a fair sized hump on the way to S. Morrill.

Conrail finally figured it out, railroad-wise and paint scheme-wise and of course they went away. The sill stripe made the paint job.

Being in the railroad equipment business was interesting but often we grabbed a shot when we could and pressed on the the next meeting. This is an eastbound on the ATSF.

This was a great place to watch trains without the hassles of Indianapolis. Conrail was rather exotic for a short trip.
