Another "facelift" unit has invaded the area once reserved for interesting stuff.

The forces of the renumbering have not yet gotten to this unit which is showing the effects of six years of rugged service.

This westbound Yorkrail freight meets a CF7 at the quarry in Thomasville, PA.

A very recent patch job working the Gulf Coast at one of my favorite southern locations, not too busy and lots of roads showed up here.

Though not a really great rebuild the 16s were at least consistent in looks and features. This is an early renumber job with another of the early CSX rainbow units.

While we often see rail-head reflection shots of big Class 1 power on highly polished, well ballasted track, railroading on short lines is not so dramatic.
