BR&W GP9 752 and SW1200RS 8159 have just completed a few switching moves.
After a days work, the local returns to Ringoes seen passing by the station, decorated for Halloween.
The freight train has just returned from Ringoes, with the locomotive secure on one of the storage tracks. At the same time, the 3:15 p.m. passenger train is ready to depart for Flemington.
BRW 8159 is the train on the return trip to Ringoes after dropping off the last three cars in Flemington. There is nothing better than jointed rail.
BRW 752 handles the excursion today and is about five minutes away from the Ringoes station. Can you tell where the track has been reballasted?
Flemington bound passenger train pauses at the station. In the siding is BDRV's railcar M55, now lettered for the Arizona Eastern.
As BRW 2-8-0 #60 is stil being overhauled, GP9 #752 is in charge of the excursions.
Built as NP 256 in Feb. 1956 this engine went on to be Clarendon & Pittsford 752 whee it received the red and white livery. Today 752 is still in the red and white but is lettered "Black River".
