Wet rail, loose leaves, and slippery SD60s...today, they made it up the hill fine. As fall progresses and the leaves continue to drop, this climb may become more difficult.
It can be tough to find an opening to shoot trains under the wires on the Northeast Corridor. I tried to make it work here, as a Northeast Regional whizzes through a brief spot of sunlight.
A single geep throttles up, rounding the curves into Butlerville. This scene is pure B&O...for now. The signals at Butlerville just to the east are facing replacement, and these may well follow.
