A pair of sd40-2s pause in the falling snow while they wait for the snow to be cleared from the switches at cresson.
After a 3-1/2 hour lull in traffic, i am surprised to see of all possible engines, that 4610 would pass by. I guess the waiting was worth it!
It's not hard to tell (or smell) if this garbage train is loaded.
Making a loud whining noise, I could hear it coming before you could see it! Something has blown up in the engine. Fortunately, UP and NS power was helping out.
It's a great day for railfanning.
