Winter in Montauk is not as busy as the summer months. This day finds 2 trains in the station, which lies next to Montauk Manor on the right, built in the 1920's.

The carbody looks like a U25B, but this is an early U28B on the P&LE roster. This is likely the most utilitarian paint scheme that I've seen on any Class 1 or regional RR.
