Amtrak Empire Builder #7 arrived at Edmonds about 10 minutes late. A relief crew climbed onboard on AMTK 91. AMTK 91 was overhauled with a "bolt-on-nose" installed on the front of the locomotive.
In the calm before the storm, Sounder Commuter Train #1705 has made a station stop at Edmonds, WA.
Amtrak Train #516 was running about 20 minutes late as typical as it speeds through Mukilteo to make up lost time.
A BNSF Z Train waits at Mukilteo as the First Sounder passes by. I also set up my camcorder on a tripod to capture the action on film.
Due to a malfunctioned signal, this commuter train have lost over 30 minutes during the delay. As soon they fixed it, the train didn't hesistate to make up time.

In a clear, Sunday evening, a BNSF Intermodal train picks up speed as it leaves the siding at MP 18. Notice the 3rd unit picking up huge smoke.
