Train # 311 pulls out of Alexandria on a nice Friday evening before Memorial Day with a GP39 in the lead, pulling former Metra Galley coaches, and a Gallery cab bringing up the rear.
The evening commuter rush is well underway as VRE train 305 crosses Aquia Creek.
Southbound Fredericksburg #303
VRE 301 pulls out of the L'Enfant Plaza VRE Station on its way to the Virginia suburbs. As for the tracks themself, CSX has been busy with some sort of trackwork.
VRE 327 cruises past a couple of western visitors at Van Dorn St.
