LIRR 414 with a four-car consist approaches the Oyster Bay station on a gorgeous fall weekend. The previous day I caught this train passing through Mill Neck.

A decade before and this weekend lineup at Oyster Bay would have featured an all Alco lineup instead of the MP15AC's seen here.

With a GP38-2 pushing on the rear, an Alco FA cab car leads a Long Island commuter train a couple miles west of Oyster Bay on its way to Jamaica. LIRR 600 began life as NYC FA2 1102.
