I certainly wasn't sad to see the winter of 2012-2013 give way to spring, but at least the last sunset of the season allowed for a glint shot of 198 nearing Paynesville.

Just thirty miles east of here, I captured this train in full sunlight. Things have taken a dramatic turn as two SD40-2s lead a westbound through a heavy snow shower west of Paynesville.

CP 8801 pulls out of the siding at Paynesville after a meet with an eastbound train.

Although a bit scummy by this time of the summer, this lake east of Paynesville still provides a nice reflection of a passing CP train on a calm evening.

Sometimes everything comes together just like you would hope that it would. With a little help from CP, this loaded coal train decided to head east at a very nice time of the evening.
