After a derailment on the super busy Staples Sub, the BNSF routed several Z-trains through the Lakes Sub and Grand Forks Sub. The H1 C44-9W looks so much better than the H2.

This DPU MAC easily shoves on the end of coal empties as they pass through a dig in the line near Spike Lake west of Cass Lake.

A couple of SD70ACe's are up front and a GEVO is in DPU on the rear as they wait in Cass Lake Yard for a crew to take them west.

What a difference a week makes... one week ago we were receiving a foot of snow and blizzard-like conditions. I love shooting in the snow, but shooting in a T-shirt in the sun is almost as great.
