D&R 9 is the oldest locomotive on the MCRWY Museum's roster. It was built in 1884 as New Orleans & North Eastern #232. It needs boiler work and a new tender before it gets rolling again.

No matter how safety aware you are, things like this are bound to happen every now and then out on the rails.

Train M338 at Wallace Yard on a mild Fall day. Nice power today, as two ex Conrail GEs at the helm. For some reason, his red lights (the old standard Conrail lights) were on.
