Nearly twenty years has passed that the area has seen steam. Southern 630 steam engine is returning from Danville, KY on it's way to Ludlow, KY to complete an excursion run on Norfolk Southern.

Framed up with the bridge in Catawba, KY, the crew is wasting no time getting to Queensgate today. There is evidence of code line still visible here with some insulators still hanging on.

At a mere 48 years old, this old locomotive is earning it's keep. Built in 1970 as C&O 7524, the crew is hustling by the intermediate signals at Hayes on their way to Corbin, KY.

TTI has just reached the crossover in Maysville, next to Caproni's. After some switching is finished, they will head to their terminal on the other end of town.

With a load of mixed freight, the crew is within a half mile of knocking the signals down at UMA on their journey to Corbin, KY.
