SGLR 580 after rolling south a few miles on the old SAL is now rocking and rolling northbound on the former ACL leaving downtown Sarasota behind.
Rolling due east on the former SAL wye the 580 will swing back north on the former ACL to Berry Plastics. The giveaway that is is a former FEC motor is the missing upper headlight.
The SGLR route in Sarasota is U shaped. The 580 here is on the curve rolling from the former SAL route southbound to the former ACL north. The destination is Berry Plastics at the end of the line.
The Sarasota Turn starts the day, running down down the former SAL main and up the ACL main to Berry Plastics.
Former FEC 660 now SGLR 580 idles awaiting the tasks of the day. For now this is a Monday morning operation, if you wish to shoot it be here by 0700.
