Just before clouds would roll in a cover the consist on the open part of the bridge, I got this shot of the whole train heading back north.
A lone goose hangs out on the shoreline of the Raritan River and watches the PRR E8's and their 6-car consist cross the bridge.
It could have been taken in the 1950's or 60's, but its 2006 and PRR E8's are hanging around the Bay Head Yard once again! The SUV is the only indication of the true date.
