FEC 905 rushes north with freight from New Smyrna Beach with two 2K Blues leading, a paint scheme becoming more scarce. Thunderstorms boil in the distance from a passing tropical system.

Two 2K blue older GP40-2's lead train 226 this morning. Very rarely seen on mainline trains these days.

On Christmas Train Day, FEC 226 gave us an early present with two 2K Blues leading. This was a common shot not long ago before the GE's. Waded into the river for this shot.

A nice surprise as FEC train 226 has FEC #431 & #427 for power today as it's crosses the San Sebastian River bridge at St Augustine, FL

A short 930 with 1 loaded aggregate gon and 4 empty hypochlorite tanks heads down the FEC Savannah Subdivision (aka K Branch) at FEC Savannah, Ft Pierce, FL.

Just after an impatient local walked across with his bike the 925 job pulled out and doubled back to its train.

Local FEC 937 a train the runs from Ft. Pierce to West Palm Beach and returns, is on it's return trip across the Stuart bridge. This train was abolished on May 30th 2013.
