Finding two engines in Rio Grande paint is becoming rare, but who would think that they'd be sitting side-by-side in Western Pennsylvania! Two ex-D&RGW units sit in the W&LE's Rook Yard.

2679 chugs through Brookline, on the rear of the W&LE's afternoon coke train.

More often than not, 392 runs with one engine on the front, and one on the back. For some reason today's version has three geeps up front.

301 brings up the rear of 22 coke empties, destined for Monessen.

Running as light engines today, 392 heads east to fetch a load of coke from Monessen. The road on the right side of the photo is a PAT busway which parallels the W&LE for a couple of miles.

The 5PM Rook crew finishes getting their train together as traffic slows to a crawl on I 279.

Two Geeps of obvious Rio Grande heritage lead a short coke train west on the former P&WV. The track at bottom of photo is the P&OC's line to Arden, PA.
