After drilling the yard for close to 2 hours, the Portland Turn finally departs Scranton as the quintet of ALCOs pass the huge Lackawanna Station and under a former EL signal bridge.

EMD F3 takes a rest in the sun at the Steamtown shops in Scranton, Pa. The unit is being repainted fron CNJ colors to the DL&W freight scheme.
