Amtrak's Coast Starlight rolls northward on Mt. Shasta's flanks during Memorial Day weekend 1995. Within days, the stylish GEs on the Starlights would be replaced by Genesis units.

NS B32-8 sits dead and stripped of some of its parts at Norfolk Southern's Roanoke Shops. NS has since retired all of its B32-8 locomotives.
