I think I hiked high enough to get this birds-eye view of an eastbound UP coal train alongside the Colorado River...

The eastbound California Zephyr, running on time, on the former D&RG's Dotsero cutoff, alongside the Colorado River. In a mile or two it will pass its westbound counterpart, also on time.

An eastbound coal cruises past an iced over Colorado River and the Glenwood Canyon recreational path. Shoshone Tunnel #2 and I-70 can be seen in the background.
