Light power sits with the SLO helpers

Some light power came in from the south last night and has tied up next to UP 2430. Happy National Train day from San Luis Obispo!

UP 4507 arrived this morning on a southbound bare table reposition. UP 2430 is also pictured on the helper spur.

A four pack of SD70 series sit alongside a duo of previous generation power. UP 2430 on the right is a SD60M in helper service.

Former SP 367 Accelerates out of San Luis Obispo. This former unit looks pretty good on home rails, considering the nearly 20 years of service and post merger with Union Pacific has done to it.

The north bound Coast Starlight departs San Luis with AMTK 467, a unit from the Cascade transets of the Pacific Northwest.

This empty auto train stalled on the Cuesta Grade this afternoon requiring the assistance of the SLO helper pool. Some early EMDs descend the grade to a crew change at the depot.
