Heading southbound in the late afternoon sun, Auto Racks behind Union Pacific 4981, head through the wine growing region of San Luis Obispo California.
Pacific Surfliner No. 761, Los Angeles to San Luis Obispo, turns inland from the coast at Arroyo Grande and goes up Price Canyon to san Luis Obispo.
The northbound Coast starlight crosses over the Stenner Creek Trestle after departing San Luis Obispo.
After a late departure and meeting two northbound trains, UP 6079 approches San Luis is the golden light. This signal continues to smile upon passing trains on borrowed time.
