LS&I 2501 leads an ore train into the Lower Yard in Marquette, MI in May of 1986. A cloud of brake dust surrounds the ancient ore cars due to the steep descent from Eagle Mills.

A load of empties head back to Tilden mine lead by a pair of well worn C30's. Nikon F3, Kodak Portra 400.

A layer of fog hangs over the woods of the Upper Peninsula with the chug of veteran U30C's filling the air as they climbing up grade to Eagle Mills Junction.
