Long time Steamtown engineer Dick Roden hauls lube oil for his charge of the day, 1917 2-8-2 CN 3254. It's October 2012 and ole' '54 has less than 2 months of service left.
This is the cab of the first steam locomotive I ever saw under steam. When I volunteer at Steamtown, I pass this locomotive, remember that day and my Dad who took me on that trip.
