CNW 6711 and 6725 await their next assignment at the CNW engine facility in Escanaba. They would soon move to new facilities at the old P&H building just west of here.
Location please! CNW's dumper job works the ore yard on a beautiful evening in May of 1986. Only 2 units were needed for this job instead of the usual 3 units on the trains to the mines.

Meal in route! CNW 6701 stops in Oconto for a bite to eat. The CNW was unique in that their crews would frequently ask for a meal in route when they would get their orders from the dispatcher.
