With police presence surrounding the train, Guilford Rail System's Gov. Baldacci Express has arrived in Bangor, with a ceremony and check handed to the city.

After the first blizzard of the year MEC 502 rests. This is as good as a Gilford paint job gets.
Waiting for the first Searsport train after a good snow, hoping for some good shots. All I would get would be this golden LCMX paint scheme.
MEC was one of the few RR's to buy the U18B. They named theirs after famous Yankees, this unit being the "Ethan Allen".
With CRI&P being liquidated, MEC took advantage and purchaced a number of their U25B's.
BAR was a "working museum" in the late '70's. This was a typical scene at NMJ during that era.
The BAR was an extraordinary railroad in many ways. Not the least was it's friendship with railfans evidenced here by BL-2 557 "The American Railfan".
