Leaving Northtown.
Retrieving a short string of empty coal hoppers. This is about as close to street running as you get in the Twin Cities.
Slinking by on the North Runner, a string of old power bakes in the sun. (Where is Georgetown in relation to the BNSF?)
Crossing the Ole Miss, the old CNW warning sign remains on the southside of the bridge.
Everything is at a crawl today as frozen switches create headaches for everyone. I have taken plenty of photos from the bridge in this shot.
Profile of BNSF 114.
Pulling into Midway elephant-style, three blue bonnets congregate in the sunrise.
An occupied Soo caboose passes a Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific frieght house.
Rounding a curve at Mpls Jct.
Garbage bag for a window, and a "tag" for the number plate! (GMRX - Great Miami Railroad)
Stretching in front of the river front, a UP train waits to let Amtrak pass into the sunrise.
The billboard above is a hint for these power plants.
This old Soo caboose brings up the rear of a NB local as it crosses the Mississippi.
My photo #800! An MRL train winds itself downgrade towards Missoula just south of Arlee.
The grinder takes a rest and gets the once over in Northtown. Note the other MoW equipment on the left.
