The sun has yet to shine on this pair of former D&RGW Tunnel motors as they along with a SD40-3 cousin smoke it up eastbound with a string of loaded hoppers full of coke on a early summer morning.

Three Wheeling units lug a heavy stone train eastbound towards Spencer, photographed a few miles south of Rochester, OH, around sunset.

WLE 6351 leads an empty ore train over the Potomac River out of Harpers Ferry tunnel. Behind the leader are two DRGW tunnel motors 5413 and 5391.

With matching ex-Wisconsin Central SD40-2's for power, L96 pulls a cut of cars to the east end of the yard as they build their train for the return to Fort Wayne.

An incredible seven unit lashup - with six different paint schemes - crosses the Yough. A combined empty ore train and loaded SWP coal train account for the extra units up front.
