When the temperature has a rapid 45 degree drop, things tend to happen. NS 703 derailed while trying to leave Meridian, MS on it's northbound journey.

Under the cover of darkness, the Kansas City Southern Holiday Express departs Meridian, Miss. for Shreveport, La. led by KCS 2 and the rest of the business entourage.

With the 2022 Christmas Train stop in Meridian well under way, all of the local kids and their families ventured out to see Santa and tour the train.
