Dropping down the grade from Cumbres Pass, K-36 No.487 negotiates the horseshoe curve at Los Pinos with the train to Antonito.
In the shadow of its own plume the day's run from Chama fights the grade as it nears the (then) newly reopened Lobato Trestle.
