A duo of Union Pacific SD59MXs lead the eastbound Canyon Flyer out of the tunnel at James. Today's train consists of 17 carloads of old ties bound for Portola.
A couple of SD59MX units work a switch back as they return to the Oroville Yard from the Oroville Industrial lead. These units will grab the Canyon Flyer cars and tackle the Feather River Canyon.
After delivering two cars to an industrial lead, Union Pacific 9910 returns to the Oroville Yard before heading towards Portola via the Feather River Canyon.
