Toting 2 cars, SGLR 580 now rolls northward along the former SAL in Sarasota. The 580 is former FEC 660 built in 1954.

SLGR 580 edges up to Martin Luther King way southbound on the former ACL main.

SGLR 580 after rolling south a few miles on the old SAL is now rocking and rolling northbound on the former ACL leaving downtown Sarasota behind.

Rolling due east on the former SAL wye the 580 will swing back north on the former ACL to Berry Plastics. The giveaway that is is a former FEC motor is the missing upper headlight.

The SGLR route in Sarasota is U shaped. The 580 here is on the curve rolling from the former SAL route southbound to the former ACL north. The destination is Berry Plastics at the end of the line.

The Sarasota Turn starts the day, running down down the former SAL main and up the ACL main to Berry Plastics.
