After exchanging cars with the 844 local and switching their train, the 840 local rolls west alongside the Missouri River just east of Toston.
A pair of rebuilt SD40s ease the 840 local into Logan, where after exchanging cars with the 844 local, will return back to Helena to tie up for the night.
