Built in May 1979 for the Southern, Shelbyville to Harrodsburg Ky. local T19 runs long hood forward west as it was originally built to do nearly forty-six years ago.
Recently rebuilt to a SD40-3 former NS SD40-2 3576 and before that BN 8170 runs light out of the Louisville NS yard.
The NS T19 local job sits on the house track in Lawrenceburg as it waits for its next assignment. The 3516 was ex. BN 7063.

It's pretty hard to find acceptable power (in terms of my personal tastes) around these parts on NS. Naturally, I was very pleased to see local T19 using this ex-SOU GP38-2.
