We stopped in Sayre on our way to Binghamton and found this SD-50 switching cars on a work train. The top of the Sayre station can be seen above the 3rd car.
After holding on the center siding at Hull for U23, NS 82M begins its run west under the power of two former Union Pacific SD60's.
With a friendly wave from the crew, coal drag 82M with three pushers on the rear head up the grade to Bandy summit. Just around the corner are War and Yukon, both oddly named towns in the coalfiel... (more)
