The morning George-Knysna goods train crosses the lagoon before entering Knysna Station. This was the last scheduled steam-hauled goods train on the South African Rail system.

The daily (Monday to Saturday) goods train is seen leaving the watering station at Bosrivier. This was one of the last regular road workings for these mainline engines.
