In a late evening pocket of sunshine deep in the valley, Q697 rounds the curve at Sun, just south of Dante, with the howling of motors and squealing flanges filling the valley.
Recently revived Q697 crosses Copper Creek Bridge on the trip from Kingsport to Shelby on a cool July afternoon.
