CSX train on NS track crossing PAL diamond. This train runs on NS tracks through most of the Louisville terminal and across the K&IT bridge and back to CSX tracks on The CSX Hoosier sub.
For the last month Louisville has seen the return of the UP originated Q687 and the return train Q686. This is a run through train that was going to Evansville and then to Nashville and on south.

Back to normal on the IL sub as UP 4192 leads westbound Q686-18 off the Carbon siding after a meet with eastbound 687. Second unit is UP 2717 (ex-SP SD40M-2).
Okay, I give up on this line! Follow me on this: NS 9709 leads a westbound cross corridor normally UP-fronted Q686-16 on the CSX IL sub. I'm just waiting to see CN, CP, or KCS on this line next!
Look closely and you'll actually see CSX paint on the IL sub as UP 9467 sports a CSX-colored air conditioner! This westbound freight train waits for a crew at the west end of Carbon.
