An SD60F leads the day's local eastward through the S curves at Tintagel.
First was lumber for as far as the eye could see, then petroleum products, mixed freight and finally empty coal gondolas on this impressively long train at 8,200ft.
The gathering clouds bring a different look to the local scenery as A460 rolls in to the west end of Burns Lake. That is Decker Lake in the background.
You would think that with all this lumber being produced locally that the prices at the lumber yard in the background would reflect that. Not a chance. BTW the second unit is a Dash 8-40CM.
A pair of SD75Is take a mixed freight through Burns Lake on the way to Edmonton.
