Texas State Railroad #8 has taken over for the ailing #300 at Maydelle and is now heading for Palestine

This locomotive used to belong to the US Navy and was stationed in Oklahoma, at the McAlester Ammunition Plant, now run by the US Army.

Alco built in 1953 and looks good in rain!!!
