On the chilly afternoon of November 10, 2018, an Allegheny Valley Railroad manifest train heads east through the trench in West Park in Pittsburgh, PA.
The sand trains are back and SD40-2s have just made their debut on the SWP. Less than a few weeks on the railroad in fresh maroon, these SD40-2s shove sand loads south.
